76TH ALL BREED SHOW, OBEDIENCE TRIAL AND 6TH RALLY TRIAL
NORTH BRANCH PARK, BRIDGEWATER, NEW JERSEY
THIS SHOW IS DEDICATED TO THE MEMORY OF THE VICTIMS OF THE SEPTEMBER 11, 2001 ATTACKS.
The American Kennel Club has generously loaned this replica of the bronze
American Kennel Club
DOGNY
to Somerset Hills Kennel Club
for display at our show on
September 11, 2010
The statue honors the heroic service dogs that worked to locate victims trapped in the buildings destroyed by the attacks on America on
September 11, 2001.
More than 350 dogs lent therapy and search-and-rescue efforts at the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. It was the largest deployment of search dogs in U.S. history and possibly the single greatest example of inter-species cooperation in the history of human disasters.
Many dedicated dogs lost their lives as a result of their valiant work after the attacks. We commemorate them today.
